Creating a New Collection

Collections in Produkt.so are used to organize related help articles into categories. For example, you might create a collection called Getting Started or Account Management.

Each collection contains multiple articles that cover a specific area of your product or service.


Step 1 — Open the Collections Section

From the left-hand sidebar of your Produkt.so dashboard, select Collections.

If you haven’t created any collections yet, you’ll see an empty state screen like the one below.

Click Create collection now to begin.


Step 2 — Add Collection Details

A dialog will appear prompting you to enter the collection information.

Fill in the following fields:

  • Title – The name of your collection (for example, Getting started with XYZ).

  • Description – A short summary describing what this collection contains (for example, A few articles about how to start using product XYZ).

  • Icon – An optional symbol to visually identify your collection.

  • Language – Choose the language for your collection using the language switcher at the bottom.

When finished, click Save changes.


Step 3 — View and Manage Your Collection

After saving, your new collection will appear in the Collections list.
You can see it in the sidebar under Collections and in the main dashboard view.

From here, you can:

  • Add articles to the collection.

  • Edit or delete the collection using the icons next to its name.

  • Reorder collections by dragging them into the desired position.


You can drag collections to reorder them in the knowledge base.
