Adding Articles to a Collection

In Produkt.so, each collection contains one or more articles. Articles are individual help pages where you provide answers, instructions, or explanations for your customers.

This guide explains how to create, edit, and publish articles within a collection.


Step 1 — Open a Collection

From the left-hand sidebar of your Produkt.so dashboard, select Collections.
Choose the collection where you want to add your new article.

If the collection is empty, you’ll see a message indicating that there are no articles yet.

Click Write article to create your first article.


Step 2 — Enter Article Title and Content

When the editor opens, you’ll see a blank article screen with the placeholder Enter title.

Start by adding:

  • Title — the headline of your article.

  • Content — the main body of your article.

You can type directly into the editor. Produkt.so’s editor supports rich formatting and content blocks for headings, lists, links, and more.


Step 3 — Use Editor Tools

Produkt.so’s editor is block-based. Type “/” anywhere in the article to open the block menu, which allows you to insert elements such as:

  • Headings (H1, H2, H3)

  • Bullet lists and numbered lists

  • To-do lists

  • Quotes and code blocks

You can also highlight text to access quick formatting options, including bold, italics, and hyperlinks.


Step 4 — Manage Links and Formatting

To add a hyperlink, select the text and click the Link icon in the toolbar.
Enter your desired URL in the input field.

Use the toolbar to format your text consistently and make your help content easier to read.


Step 5 — Preview and Publish the Article

When your article is ready, you can preview or publish it from the top-right corner of the editor:

  • Preview – Opens a live preview of your article as it will appear to customers.

  • Publish – Makes the article visible in your help center.

Once published, your article will appear under its collection in the knowledge base.


Step 6 — Edit or Update Later

You can edit any article at any time. Simply open it from the Collections section, make your changes, and click Publish again to update the live version.
